I have a small office with four networked computers, all running win xp home sp 2. I was going to purchase winfax pro 10 to allow me to connect one computer to a phone line and share the fax capability with the others on the network running the client software. However, I've read that serious problems occur when trying to do this if a) the computers are running xp sp 2, b)the network is wireless, and c)ip addresses are obtained through dhcp. Since my computers and network have all of the above, I'm not not sure about trying to do this now. Does anyone have any advice about this? Has anyone attempted something similiar? Any input would help. Thank you.

What you wanting to do is a nightmare. To accomplish exactly what you are hoping to, i had to eventully take SP2 off each of the machines envolved with Winfax. So they all have only SP1, with updates turned off. we tried all the Symantec updates, and still no help. With just SP1, it does work like a dream though, and we have had no problems since taking off SP2. Hope it goes well.
